When you have made the decision to have laser eyesight correction you will wonder what the best form of laser eye surgery there is available presently. Like choosing anythings in the life, before making decision we have to compare the characters of these proceduces, compare the benefits of each forms to point out the best choice.

It is necessary to mention however that for most of people, standard laser eye surgery will give wonderful results the huge majority of the time. Nevertheless, there are add-ons to standard laser eye surgery that mean the chances of achieving the very best vision are slightly higher.

Getting the very best laser eye surgery is definitely more costly but for some people this is not an concern. All their concern are the last results. They just wish the highest chance of getting the best possible vision. The best laser eye surgical procedure you can obtain is Intralase (femtosecond laser) Lasik with Wavefront. This is the most accurate form of laser eye surgery that is safest and has the quickest and most comfortable recovery period. Below are some explaination for the reason why it is choosen for the best :

Intralase Lasik with Wavefront

Lasik: When choosing laser eye surgery you will commonly have to choose between Lasik and Lasek and in terms of visual outcomes there is very little to select between them. However, lasik results in a quicker and more comfortable recovery time and this is one of the reasons it becomes the first nominator for laser eye surgery.

Intralase (example of Femtosecond laser): This is a kind of Lasik and relates to the way in which the flap is created during the procedure. Intralase is in fact just a type of Femtosecond laser and different clinics will use different manufacturers. Examples of these different types are Z (Zeimer) lasik and Technolas Perfect Vision. Creating the flap with Intralase (or any other Femtosecond laser) produces a quicker healing time, better chance of achieving 20/20 vision and lowered risk of night vision problems. It is also connected with fewer complications when compared to standard Lasik as most problems with Lasik happen when creating flap. Intralase makes the flap using a laser, while standard Lasik uses a surgical blade. The procedure is also often referred to as bladeless Lasik.

Wavefront: This can be added on to either Lasik or Lasek. Wavefront typically brings about a more accurate procedure meaning the chances of achieving 20/20 vision after surgery are higher. Your night vision will also be significantly better following surgery in comparison with standard Lasik. If you have large pupils or already have night vision problems, your surgeon might demand that you have this treatment. Even though wavefront does produce better results, many of the latest lasers incorporate wavefront correction in to their lasers as standard.

Final points to consider

To ensure you get the best laser eye surgery is not just as simple as having Femtosecond Lasik with wavefront as clinics generally use different suppliers of equipment to carry out the procedures. Most clinics will claim that their lasers and technology are the best on the market but the only real way to know for certain is to ask them for their audited laser eye surgery results and complication rates. Ideally you want the highest percentage of patients achieving 20:20 vision in addition to the lowest complication rates. Although the risks of laser eye surgery are very small there is still some differences between different clinics and surgeons.

There is also some variability in the performance of distinct laser eye surgeons so ideally you should ask to see the individual results of the surgeon who will be carrying out your surgery. A better surgeon will raise your chances of getting better vision and minimising the risk of additional complications also.

1. Get rid of glasses and contact lenses

LASIK surgery, a refractive surgery, can improve your eyesight, correction vision so you never need wear glasses or contact lenses again. LASIK eye surgery utilizes a simple laser or small blade to create a flap on the cornea of the eye. The doctoc will fold back the flap and a excimer laser vaporizers part of the stroma (the cornea’s midsection), which is what causes many eye problems. The cornea flap is replaced, and you don’t require glasses or contact lenses again.

2. This produce is fast and simple

The full process for LASIK surgery can take a few minutes in the doctor’s office. Patients may experience better vision the very next day. Most regular activities can be started again the day after surgery, including work and sports. If a patient has a job that needs intense focus, they may need to wait two or three more days.

3. Numerous Lasik alternatives

Some patients are not able to get LASIK eye surgery because their corneas are too thin for the procedure. There are other options to LASIK surgery. Epi-Lasik, PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) and LASEK are refractive surgeries appropriate for correcting vision of people with thin corneas. Both LASEK and PRK may include more discomfort than traditional LASIK eye surgery because the epithelium is replaced.

4. Price are reducing

LASIK surgery is considered by most insurance companies to be optional, and so it commonly is not covered by insurance. Unlike many cosmetic methods, LASIK surgery is not hugely costly. The cost of LASIK surgery is around $1900 for both eyes. Prices continue to fall as technology improves, making the procedure safer and faster.

5. Lasik fixes a bevy of eye problems

LASIK eye surgery can correct both farsightedness and nearsightedness. It can focus on astigmatism (unevenly curved corneas) and presbyopia, age-related loss of close up focusing. LASIK cannot help people with degenerative eye diseases or people who have sustained trauma to the eye. An eye surgeon will determine if you are a viable candidate for LASIK eye surgery.

They are worn primarily to provide vision correction for several eye problems. Contact lenses are more prefered than eyeglasses because they may be more pleasantly pleasing and convenient, particularly in case where glasses are a barrier. If you are considering to choose contact lenses, let think carefully and find more information about contact lenses before making a decision.

Materials

About material, there are two main type of contact lenses: solf contact lenses and hard contact lenses. Hard contact lenses are made of plexiglass or lucite. While hard lenses are still available, most people choose soft contact lenses. New wearers of hard contact lenses need to get used to wearing them. The adjustment usually takes two to four weeks. Soft contact lenses are produced from plastics that are gel-like. They are much more comfortable than hard lenses and take less adjustment time. Gas permeable lenses are made of hard plastics that permit gases to pass through the lens material, providing enough oxy for the eyes.

Uses

Contact lenses can applied for a range of eye disorders, including near sightedness, far sightedness and astigmatism. They are put on the front of the eyeball and float on the cornea. The lenses correct the refraction of light entering the eye to make your vision clearer. Contact lenses can also be utilized to support in the healing process after cataract surgery or to treat certain eye infections and corneal injuries.

Design

Contact lenses are offered in several designs for specific vision disorders.

Spherical and toric lenses are common and are used to treat near and far sightedness and astigmatism.

Bifocal contacts are also available for multi-focal vision treatment for those with presbyopia.

Orthokeratology lenses are used to reshape the cornea of the eye during sleep, allowing for lens-free visual correction during the day.

Lens Wear Time

Lens wear time can vary depending on the material the lenses are made of. There are three main type: Daily wear lenses, Extended wear lenses, Continuous wear lenses.

Daily wear lenses must be taken off at the end of the day, then cleaned and stored.

Extended wear lenses permit to wear over a longer period of time without removal, usually up to a week, even while sleeping.

Continuous wear lenses can be worn without being removed in a longer time than extended wear lenses. It can be worn for up to one month.

Fitting Contacts

Even if you have an existing prescription for glasses, you will need to find your optometrist or ophthalmologist to be measured and fitted for contact lenses because they are classified as a medical device. By law, they need proper fitting from a trained and licensed professional and are only available by prescription. After the test, your visual correction requirements will be determined. Then you will be given your prescription. You can choose to buy your lenses from your doctor, buy them in an optical store or buy them online but should choose the reliable contact lenses producers.

These eyewear can not only bring great vision clearness, but also convenience. However, there are still many people who often make mistakes in their daily life. Especially, many of them seldom know the danger when contact lenses are kept in eyes. Here are some typical examples or mistakes of contact lens wearer.

1. Wearing your lenses for longer than prescribed. An commonly example is over wearing the lenses (too many hours a day, wearing a 1 month lens for 2 months, wearing a daily lens for 2 to 3 days). Trying to wear them as long as possible in order to save a buck could cost you the health of your eyes. What about when you are sick? They’re probably already germ-infested. The more germs accumulate, the more the risk of severe infection increases. This depends on the type of lens the person buys. Your contact lens care practitioner will inform you of the recommended number of hours of wear per day for the lens that you are using. You should follow the instruction strictly to get the best result.

2. Not washing the hands before inserting the lens. This is very simple step but many people still forget it. Everyday, our hands contact with many things that have thousands of bacteria on them. Insert the lens with unwashing hands can cause bacterial infection for your eyes.

3. Cleaning the lens with other solutions not were not recommended by the contact lens practitioner, some even use their saliva to clean the lens. Some people try to wash the lens with tap water when they drop their daily contact lens on the floors. Warning: A cornea-eating worm in your eye. Acanthamoeba can get in your eye if you rinse your contacts with tap water instead of saline. This worm is found in many places, including tap water. There are many type of recommend solution for cleaning contact lens, they can remove protein from your lenses that other solution can not do. Therefore, you have to use the solution that recommended by your doctor to avoid damage your contact lenses or cause unexpected eye problems. And when you rinse using such water, the parasite may end up on your lens. It can cause a very severe eye infection and even blindness.

4. Sleeping with the lenses on. It may due to wearers forget to take them off before going to bed or they intentionally sleep with the lens on to keep using the lenses in the next day instead of change a new pair of contacts. Warning: Broken lens fragments in your eye.

Avoid these common contact lens mistakes, and you will enjoy the comfort and convenience of contacts without wasting your investment or hurting your eyes. If you wear contacts and have detected a change or cloudiness in your vision, have extremely dry eyes, or other irritation, the best thing you can do is have your eyes checked. Go to visit your optometrist, they will make recommendations for further treatment.

The lens is put on the eye’s tear film, which is in front of the cornea. Contact lenses can correct some vision problems such as near and far sightedness, astigmatism. Many people desire to wear contact lenses instead of framed glasses. However, if you don’t know how to put a contact lens in properly, you can hurt the eye and cause infection. Therefore, correctly placing the contact lenses on the eye is essential when wearing the lenses.

Step 1
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Wash your face as well if you are placing the contacts in the morning. Dry your hands carefully. Permit your eyes to adjust to the light by waiting several minutes before placing lenses on.

Step 2
Use a few drops of saline solution on your pointer finger. Pick up a contact lens with your other hand and place the lens in the center of the pointer finger, with the inner part of the lens facing upward. Check the lens to ensure it is clean and free of dust or loose particles. Put a drop or two of saline solution onto the center of the lens.

Step 3
Using your other hand’s middle finger, pull the upper eyelid upward. Take the opposite hand’s middle finger, and pull the bottom eyelid downward. With the eye wide open, gently place the contact lens over the iris.

Step 4
Blink once and open your eyes. If the contact seems to hurt or feel uncomfortable, eliminate it immediately. Look over the lens to see if any dust, loose eyelashes or other irritants are on the lens. Remove any dust and try it again.

GTD does not develop from cells of the uterus like cervical cancer or endometrial (uterine lining) cancer do. Instead, these tumors start in the cells that would normally develop into the placenta during pregnancy.

The main types of gestational trophoblastic diseases are:

Hydatidiform mole (complete or partial)

Invasive mole

Choriocarcinoma

Placental-site trophoblastic tumor

Epithelioid trophoblastic tumor

If you get Gestational trophoblastic disease you will have some signs and symptoms such as: Abdominal Swelling; Bleeding; Vomiting; Anemia; Fetal Movement; Hypertension

The causes of Gestational trophoblastic disease are uncertain, however, there are some risk factors to develop this disease include: Prior molar pregnancy; Age; Prior miscarriage(s) or problems getting pregnant; Blood type; Birth control pills; Socioeconomic status; Diet; Family history etc…

Like many cancer disease treating GTD also include 3 methods such as Surgery, Chemotherapy, Radiation therapy. Depend on your tumor or your general health you will be advised to choose the most suitable therapy for the best result.

If you have symptoms that may signal penile cancer, your doctor will ask you questions about your health, your lifestyle, including smoking and drinking habits, and your family medical history. The doctor will examine your penis.

If your doctor suspects you may have penile cancer, one or more of the following tests may be used to find out if you have cancer and if it has spread. These tests also may be used to find out if treatment is working.

Biopsy: A biopsy usually is the first test performed to find out if you have penile cancer. The type of procedure depends on the type of tissue or lesion.

Incisional biopsy: A small part of abnormal tissue is removed. This procedure is used most often for lesions that are larger, ulcerated or that appear to have spread deep into the tissue.

Excisional biopsy: The whole growth or lesion is removed. Usually, this type of biopsy is performed for small abnormal areas. If the lesion is on the foreskin, you doctor may suggest circumcision.

Fine needle aspiration (FNA): This type of biopsy may be used to examine the tissue in lymph nodes. A thin needle is inserted into the groin area. Then cells are drawn out and looked at under a microscope.

Imaging tests, which may include:

CT or CAT (computed axial tomography) scans

MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans

PET (positron emission tomography) scans

X-Rays

Ultrasound

Having diagnosis is really important because it will help you to find out if you get this disease or not, even it can help you to know what stage you are in to have the best treatment. As soon as having any signs and symptoms involved in penis cancer please see your doctor to have the tests as exams.

If a doctor suspects a child has rhabdomyosarcoma or another soft-tissue tumor, he or she will perform a thorough physical exam in addition to these tests:

Medical history and physical exam: If your child has any signs or symptoms that may suggest rhabdomyosarcoma, the doctor will want to get a complete medical history to learn about any symptoms and how long your child has had them. The doctor will also examine your child to look for possible signs of rhabdomyosarcoma or other health problems.

Imaging studies: These will likely include a CT scan, MRI, X-ray, bone scan, and ultrasound. Not only are these tests helpful in determining the size and location of the tumor, they can also help determine if cancer has metastasized.

Biopsy: A tiny piece of cancerous tissue is removed from the body for further examination in a lab. This closer look helps doctors make a diagnosis (such as cancer) and choose the right treatment. A biopsy often be can performed laparoscopically (using a small incision and a camera to guide the doctor’s movements instead of more invasive surgery).

Blood tests: Tests such as a complete blood count, liver function panel, and blood chemistries can also give important information about how well the liver and other organs are functioning. If the doctor suspects the tumor is related to an underlying genetic condition, certain genetic tests also may be done.

Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy: Bone marrow is the spongy tissue inside bones that makes blood cells. This procedure involves removing a small amount of bone marrow tissue and examining it for cancer cells.

Lab tests on the biopsy samples: A pathologist will look at the biopsy samples under a microscope to try to determine if they contain cancer cells. If the pathologist finds cancer, the next step is to figure out if the cancer is rhabdomyosarcoma

Rhabdomyosarcoma is a cancerous tumor that develops in the body’s soft tissues, usually the muscles. It can affect the head, neck, bladder, vagina, arms, legs, and trunk. Cells from these tumors are often fast growing and can spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body.

RMS is the most common type of soft-tissue cancer in children. Kids can develop it at any age, but it’s most common in those between 2 and 6 years old and 15 and 19 years old. Boys tend to be affected more often than girls.

The two main types of RMS in kids are:
1. Embryonal RMS: This tumor develops in the head and neck area, genitals, or urinary tract. It usually occurs in kids younger than 6. Although it’s considered an aggressive (fast growing) type of tumor, it usually responds well to treatment.

2. Alveolar RMS: This type, which is most likely to occur during the teen years, most often affects the arms or legs, chest, abdomen, genitals, or anal areas. It, too, is fast growing but often more difficult to treat. Most kids with this type of tumor need intensive treatment.

The cause of rhabdomyosarcoma is unknown. Some children with certain birth defects are at an increased risk, and some families have a gene mutation that elevates risk. However, the great majority of children with rhabdomyosarcoma do not have any known risk factors.

You will have some signs and symptoms of rhabdomyosarcoma such as: bleeding, congestion, swallowing problems, or neurological problems if they extend into the brain when tumors in the nose or throat or bulging of the eye, problems with vision, swelling around the eye, or pain when Tumors around the eyes etc…

Diagnosis of rhabdomyosarcoma is often delayed because of lack of symptoms, and because the tumor may appear at the same time as a recent injury. Early diagnosis is important because rhabdomyosarcoma spreads quickly. You can have some tests include: physical exam; Biopsy of the tumor; Chest x-ray; CT scan of the chest to look for spread of the tumor; CT scan of the tumor site; Bone marrow biopsy (may show the cancer has spread); Bone scan to look for spread of the tumor; MRI scan of the tumor site; Spinal tap (lumbar puncture)

Treatment of RMS includes chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation. With early detection and timely treatment, most kids make a full recovery.
